Yowly and Chew Hoi

Jillian Pih was presented the Gim Hong and Sun Woo Lee Memorial Award as the top college senior. She graduated the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in communications. Her goal is to be a businesswoman. She is the granddaughter of Chew and Howly Hoi. Chew Hoi was a longtime member of the Scholarship Fund executive board. Her interests include running, hiking, golf, baking and music.

Sui Ching Lau

Stacey Lau was presented the Stephen Huahn Memorial Award as the top college student. She is a sophomore at Cal State University Los Angeles studying food science and technology. Her goal is to be a food chemist. She is the granddaughter of Sui Ching Lau. Her interests include watching movies, sewing stuffed animals, and throwing the frisbee.

Russell Chow

Russell Chow was a senior at UC Irvine majoring in biomedical engineering. He’ll next attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore to study for his master’s degree. His goal is to be a medical imaging engineer. He is the grandson of Hoy Wong. His interests include martial arts tricking, trail running, 3D art and reading.

Kyle Lam is a junior at UC Riverside majoring in business administration — finance. His goal is to be an investment banker or software engineer. He is the grandson of Oi Chen Lam. His interests include investing in the stock market, basketball, golf, cooking steaks, fishing and traveling the world.

Breanna Quon is a junior at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in kinesiology. Her goal is to be an occupational therapist. She is the granddaughter of Francis Lai. Her interests include basketball, exercising and baking.
